Subject: Right In Tune!
Hobo Pat recommended this download - and I'm glad he did - crystal clear sound via radio broadcast - and a tight and joyous RRE!

Download and listen to this (too) short and sweet set!

Subject: An XPN Festival Highlight
I'd never heard of Railroad Earth before seeing them on a hot summer afternoon in Camden. As more of a rock fan, seeing the diverse acoustic instruments on stage before the show didn't get me excited, but once the band started playing that certainly changed.

The musicians each played extremely well and they meshed perfectly. Strong original songs and good vocals made for an excellent show, definitely one of the very best of the festival (Shelby Lynne's set took the prize in my book).

I will definitely seek out their CDs and hope to see them again live.

This recording is apparently off the radio -- the entire festival was broadcast on WXPN in Philadelphia -- so the audio quality is very good. Highly recommended.

Subject: some news fittin to print
This is one of the first shows to be posted after the CD release. My sister was at the release out in CO and it was pretty friggin good.. my account and hers. Its not as raucous as some of there bar shows but tight and the band is sounding clear. I liked Hard Livin and Right in Tune. Good song writing and what I like about RRE during Right in Tune... upbeat, palpable longing, good versing, cheary vocals
